We provide everything you need for a memorable day on the water, including equipment, shuttle service, trip planning, and group coordination.
SAFETY & RESPONSIBILITY
Our Responsibility
- Every trip begins with a pre-launch safety briefing covering paddling basics, river conditions, hazards, and trip expectations.
- U.S. Coast Guard-approved PFDs are provided to all participants. Proper fit and use are demonstrated prior to launch.
- All equipment is routinely cleaned, inspected, and maintained to ensure it is in safe, serviceable condition.
- Participants receive clear route information, access points, and contact details prior to departure.
Your Responsibility
- Be comfortable in and around water and orient yourself and yourself and group with proper operations and boat handling.
- View Canoe/Kayak Safety Training
- View Standup Paddleboard Safety Training
- Follow all safety guidance provided during orientation
- Paddler under 18 years old will wear PFD at all times
- Use equipment responsibly
- Sign a required waiver prior to participation
- Leave no sign of your presence

Payment Information
To provide a secure and convenient reservation experience, payments are processed through a secure online payment link. We accept credit card payments for all reservations and do not add any credit card processing or convenience fees.
Your payment information is processed securely, and Bald Eagle Valley Kayak Co. does not store or retain your credit card information.
Cancellation & Weather Policy
At Bald Eagle Valley Kayak Co., trips operate rain or shine. Paddling is a water activity, and getting wet is part of the experience. We recommend dressing appropriately for weather conditions and wearing quick-drying, non-cotton clothing, especially during cooler weather.
Weather in North Central Pennsylvania can change quickly and vary significantly between valleys and river sections. Forecasted rain does not always impact paddling conditions, and unexpected rain is always possible.
For safety reasons, trips may be canceled or delayed due to severe weather or hazardous river conditions, including:

Flooding or high water

Lightning or severe thunderstorms

High winds

Other unsafe conditions determined by Bald Eagle Valley Kayak Co.
If Bald Eagle Valley Kayak Co. cancels a trip due to unsafe conditions, customers will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule.
Customer cancellations made within 72 hours of the scheduled trip are subject to a $10 per person cancellation fee.
No-shows or same-day cancellations may be charged the full reservation amount.
